The two maxims that will be used in this course will help the user with foundational insights about the human psyche and the learn guitar process. Maxim 1 emphasizes the importance of repetition in skill acquisition processes. By repeating attempts to memorize orders lists of information or how to actually play something guitar learners can improve their neural pathways and increase muscle memories. Repetition can frequently be key to someone trying to learn about something they initially had little to no idea about. The second maxim concerns how the Guitar is tuned in standard tuning. In standard tuning guitar is tuned as 4ths, except the B string which is tuned a half step lower as a third, and this is perhaps so it repeats back to E as the tuning of the last string because B to E is fourth.
